During the summer, having your face makeup stay fresh throughout the day is one of the hardest things to accomplish.  When dealing with your foundation, you can apply your foundation in a criss-cross stroke motion with your brush.  This allows your foundation to look less blotchy when you start to perspire.  If foundation is too much for you during the summer, try wearing a tinted moisturizer.  The tinted moisturizer kills three birds with one stone.  It provides moisture to your skin, allows for a smooth looking complexion and also has SPF in it.
