Project Runway’s All Stars Week 4

What did you think of Project Runway’s Week 4 designs?

The winner was Michael with his “grapefruit” satin evening gown.  What do you think?  Very elegant and trendy, this design has an opulent look that gives it a sophisticated vibe.  I would have loved to see this dress is a deeper color, to flatter the model’s coloring better but the design itself is quite unique.

 

Mondo’s Dress using a color blocking technique to add lots of drama!  The orange strip helped create a bit of a silhouette but I felt like her trim figure was lost in all the fabric.

 I have to agree with the judges that April’s dress this week was a bit on the sloppy side, a bit too unoriginal and although a good color choice, the dress overall fell flat.

 

Mia’s Dress had a lot of style packed in to all the fluid fabric and upbeat color blocking.  I was quite impressed. The belt added a cute, Bohemian flair.

Kara’s Dress…. well… it had too much bulk at the waist and looked a lot like a maternity dress.  I do LOVE the shoes though!  Little red bow tie pumps.
Just a few highlights for you.  There were many more dresses this week but I thought you would enjoy a few highlights.   What do you think?  Who do you think should have won???  Look at each dress and see where your eye goes first.  Which dress flatters the model and shows unique style?
