Pairing Neutrals

Just as we are seeing a natural, neutral makeup look this spring, we are also seeing a revival of a neutral influence in clothing.  To master this chic, pulled-together look try pairing a soft blush pink or a creamy light peach with one of your other colors.  Try olive green with blush pink or light peach.  Pair a soft butter-cream blouse with a warm toasted brown skirt or pants. You can also try pairing a soft grey with the Pantone color of the year, “Marsala”.  By adding one of your stronger neutrals to a softer spring color you can create a look that is stylish and exhibits understated elegance.

Don’t forget to add the “icing” to your outfits with jewelry and accessories.  Try layering several delicate necklaces together or stacking a few various sized bracelets.  Remember every outfit needs a little pizzazz!
