Do Not Scrimp on Your Beauty
Many clients ask me where they should start with their total makeover if funds are limited. After working with clients for over 30 years I realize several things. First and foremost, you only have one body – you don’t get a second chance at a new body, so you need to take very good care of the one you have. There are times to be frugal with money and there are times not to be frugal. Many women think that if they spend money on their clothes and accessories then they will automatically look beautiful. Let’s think about this. Beauty starts with your body – not your clothes. The best compliment you can receive is: “Wow, you look great!” They are not complimenting your clothes, but you are wearing the clothes. When you talk with someone you automatically look at their face. That is where the first impression starts. Before you think about buying clothes, first spend money on quality skincare and appropriate makeup that makes YOU look beautiful.
A skincare routine should start at an early age – as a teenager. It is much cheaper to maintain facial skin than to repair it. But it’s never too late to start a good skincare regimen. After continually trying new technologically formulated products over the last 30 years, I have observed tremendous strides in the quality of skincare. Skincare is not where you want to buy the cheapest, discounted, or on sale. You need to educate yourself about what is best for your face at the moment. The same product usually is not used year around. You probably need more moisturizing products in the winter and lighter products in the summer. Also, remember to wear sunscreen during the day. I highly recommend you include in your monthly budget, money for quality skincare. You only have one face in your life. It deserves the best. We at Stoltz Image Consulting offer acomplimentary skincare consultation anytime to experience the feel of quality skincare appropriate for your skin. All products that I carry are esthetician quality and proven to improve the skin.
Morning and evening regimens are different. At night you ned to use Eye Makeup Remover to remove the eye liner and mascara. Do not use your facial cleanser around your eyes. The Vitamin C Cleanser has jojoba beads to gently exfoliate your facial skin daily so you do not need to use a harsh exfoliator once a week. Clients always ask me “Why should I use toner?” THere are three benefits of toner. First it removers any cleanser or makeup still on the face. Second it applies an extract (Vitamin C) directly on the face and third, it brings the PH balance back so that the skin can readily accept the moisturizer.
I personally use the following:
Morning :Vitamin C Cleanser, Vitamin C Toner, Hyaluronic Serum, Majafirm Serum, Brightening Lotion SPF 50, Anti-puffy Eye Gel, Vitamin C Lip Treatment
Evening: Eye Makeup Remover, Vitamin C Cleanser, Vitamin C Toner, Hyaluronic Serum, Majafirm Serum, Peptide Cream, Peptide Eye Cream, Vitamin C Lip Treatment and twice a week Retinal Serum
