Conquer Dark Circles
Most women at some point in their life will experience dark circles under their eyes. While we tend to blame genetics and lack of sleep, there can be other reasons for the annoying and sometimes impossible to cover circles. In the November issue of Allure, they reveal what could really be behind the dark circles under your eyes. Not using a day lotion with SPF in it increases your risk for skin cancer, as well as bringing out darker pigmentation caused by exposure to the sun. Stoltz Image has a number of day lotions with SPF in them for dry skin, oily skin and normal skin. While products with retinol in them are useful for getting rid of fine lines and wrinkles, overuse can cause irritation around the eyes. Use a retinol product, such as our Retinol Treatment for face or eyes a few times a week to avoid over-exposure. Lastly, using a makeup remover that causes you to scrub your eyes can lead to dark circles appearing. Our Dual Action Makeup Remover is gentle on skin and tough on makeup to get it all off without scrubbing and irritating the sensitive area around eyes. For the best coverage of dark circles, use our Dual Action Concealer which helps reduce the darkness and covers it at the same time.
