Skirts, Skirts, Skirts!

This fall we are seeing an influx of skirts. Feminine fashion is definitely “in” this fall.  If you enjoy wearing skirts it’s time to try a few new shapes and styles.  The A-Line Mini skirt is a soft nod a bygone era and looks lovely with simple flats or a pump with a low, stacked heel.  These versatile skirts are lovely with tights to keep your legs warm when the weather gets a bit cooler.  Don’t wear a traditional pump with these skirts.  A low, stacked heel works much better proportionally with this shorter skirt.  Keep your top streamlined and silhouette flattering.   Try pairing a turtleneck or sweater.   A simple chain belt looks lovely over a soft sweater.   Bring out your retro purses and your look is complete!  For a little extra pizzazz take your makeup up a notch and add soft cat-eye eyeliner.  Be sure to follow Elaine’s directions for the “Elaine Cat-Eye” on our blog to keep the look soft and yet dramatic!
